Third and Fourth graders at John F. Kennedy School in Raritan learned about a paleontologist as they enjoyed a Rocks, Minerals and Fossils Program on, November 8, 2017.
Field Paleontologists, Mike and Roberta Straka, shared information with the students about rocks and minerals, and how they are formed in the earth. The program also included Mr. Nixon, a triceratops skull. The children were involved in activities as part of a Game Show. The program ended with a dig in sand pits filled with rocks and fossils.
